Nazi Zombies - Short Promo

It was shot in Scotland in 2010 as a Promo Push for the popular game Call of Duty. It involved a lot of test shots (in snow) with some exciting film props (guns, grenades and samurai swords!) The end result was a 60 second ‘Teaser’ with a view to filming a larger short film some time in the near future. Shot in HD with a Sony HVR-V1P.

Big Guns and Handbags - Teaser Trailer

Big Guns is a 1970’s Gangster Thriller. It was shot in Melbourne, Australia in 2009. This is just the opening 7 minutes (Teaser) to what we hope will one day be a fully funded film. All the actors and crew involved put a lot of effort into this and the film received a very warm reception when it was premiered at the Classic Cinema in Melbourne.

Diary of a Stripper - Teaser Trailer

Diary is another teaser Directed by Nicholas Gunn. It is a ‘Film Noir’ Thriller set in 1940’s Australia. We shot this over a one month period and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Period films give you a great opportunity to ‘go back in time’. This film was also screened at the Classic Cinema in Melbourne in April 2010.

The Devil’s Whispers - Short Feature film (47mins)

Starring: Nicholas Gunn (The Dream Children, Neighbours), Lockie Jeffrey (Around The Twist), David Izatt (Big Guns and Handbags) and Jessica Pekin.

The Devil’s Whispers was our major project for 2008/09 and took us over a year to complete. It is a Short Feature shot in and around urban Melbourne and rural Victoria. The whole process involved over 30 cast and crew from Actors and Cameramen to Extras, Production Assistants, Editors and Visual Effects Artists. In April 2009 the Film screened at the Classic Cinema in Melbourne to a full house, along with two Film Teasers (Big Guns and Handbags and Diary of a Stripper). Checkmate - Short film

It was our entry into Melbourne’s 48 Hour Film Festival. We had to create a film in 48 hours from scratch and with 3 major things included. The film had to have the line “You’re living in a fantasy world”, a chess piece (prop), and a character called Rikky Pardee all included to be a valid entry. We drew a number from a hat and were told that our genre for the 48 hours was ‘Cop Thriller’ and away we went to write a script, organise a location, learn our lines, film, edit, score the film and output it to DVD before our time ran out. We made it and had a brilliant time filming. Checkmate was screened along with 20 other films at Federation Square in Melbourne. While we didn’t win the competition our Rikki Pardee character brought out a few fits of the giggles from the audience and that was worth it alone.
